Maybe We Would Get More Done if our Diplomats Stopped Walking Out of Meetings

U.S. Delegation walks out of U.N. Human Rights Commission. Check.
U.S. Delegation walks out of U.N. debate on Iraq war resolution. Check.
U.S. Delegation walks out of U.N. World Conference Against Racism Check.
But really, what else could be expected from an administration that pulled out of the Kyoto Protocol on Global Warming and the 1972 Anit-Ballistic Missile Treaty?
Maybe it is time for the administration (and failing them, this country) to start acting as if we represent 5% of the world’s population rather than 95%. Bashing the Axis of Weasels has been in vogue for over a year now, but what has that yielded?. No wonder we’re not getting the help we need on intelligence, intellectual property and getting our asses handed to us on trade violations.
But hey, it’s better to rename all of our food than be good citizens of this planet. Isn’t it?
