Apparently, We Have Our Own Rape Rooms

Luckily I don’t have to say “I support the troops” or “no homo” because the rape and torture of Iraqi prisoners is being perpetrated by civilian contractors.

I would say “Who are the ad wizards who came up with this one”, but I think it is quite obvious who is responsible. I can just see the meeting now:

Wolfowitz: If we use civilian contractors to guard and interrogate the prisoners, then we don’t have to worry about military law or the Geneva Convention.

Rumsfeld, tenting fingers: “Excellent.”

I’m sure this will be spun as “private information gathering and security program-realted activities.
