In Thin Air

Somehow the shots of us grinding rails and catching mad air in the halfpipe got lost. And don’t even get me started on what happens when you try to take a camera into the high stakes poker room at Caesar’s Tahoe.

While that may be true, I sat down on purpose to talk to Jason who did actually fall. Dean Beattie ain’t got shit on me!

  3. How the hell did I get into brought into this!?!

None-the-less, I know the feeling man, about catching mad air and having your shutter jam due to cold weather and high altitude. When I was in Utah I macked this phat ass half-cab backside rodeo and my peeps couldn’t get the camera to fire. So sad.

I’m comin’ to Colorado bitch!! get a fuckin’ flight, yo!

Oh yeah, new jack, wheres the black and white?

I was pulling off some moves they don’t even have names for yet.

    B+W is at the lab.

  5. The lab!! You pussy! Dude, I don’t even know if I can talk to you anymore!

ahhhh….anyway. Call Jason, it’s his birthday.
I’m going up there now to trainwreck some tracks.

At the lab? I thought I schooled you better than that.

    Do I even know you?

My state-of-the-art darkroom complex is still be installed. We can’t all work for quality daily publications like you do.

was that “grinding” rails or “bumping” them? either way, these photos look amazing … were they taken with a digital camera? i’m too afraid to bring my digital out on the slopes, but then again, i’m not that strong a skier.

  9. matt says:

grinding, bumping, and a fair bit of chopping lines, you know us. canon SD100 and Canon S50, both digital. they are both rugged enough to ski with, but i did almost split my iPod in half…
