Now that Scott Peterson‘s murder trial has been moved from Modesto to Redwood City in San Mateo County, Jason and I are now in the jury pool. Given that jury lists are generated from voter rolls, is it way too late to take back all the things we said about how important it is to register to vote?

We’re starting to think of ways to get disqualified from serving without getting cited for contempt of court. “Our blog wouldn’t get updated, your honor” doesn’t seem like it would cut it.

Better ideas are welcomed.
