Hitting Bottom

And no, the title is not a reference to king of pop Michael Jackson, rather the state of Florida and more election chicanery.

From the Miami Herald:

Gov. Jeb Bush has ordered Broward Supervisor of Elections Miriam Oliphant removed from office, and appointed former Markham Elementary principal Brenda Snipes as her interim replacement.

From reports, it seems that Oliphant was actually incompetent.
But that raises four very important questions:

1. What exactly do you have to do to get removed from an election related job in Florida?

2. Is Gov. Bush sure that a former elementary school principal can handle the job?

3. Katherine Harris not only never got fired in Florida, they gave her a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.

4. Don’t you think the “hair-don’t” below would be grounds for removal from any job?
