The face of the enemy.

Since the prez keeps blaming the situation in Iraq on the filter, I thought
now would be a good time to put up some “wanted” shots so everyone
will know to keep an eye out for these killers.

It is unknown at this time how these individuals were able to fire rockets at
a hotel and blow up car bombs in front of 5 other buildings yesterday.

Hey man, nice shot.

The Prez wants to know why the media is giving so much attention to
things getting blown up in Iraq. He’s either being massively disingenuous,
or blind. What gets more attention in this country, schools opening
or murder? Commerce or crime? The media has certainly fallen down on
the job in the last 2+ years, but even I don’t expect them to be over there
filming ribbon-cutting ceremonies and construction.

Wasn’t the “Mission Accomplished”?

And speaking of that landmark day, the Prez said yesterday that it was
the USS Lincoln’s crew that put up the sign. I don’t know
who thought that Karl Rove was standing on a ladder with a level hanging a
banner, but it wasn’t anyone I know. What I do want to know is how did
that banner get produced? The USS Lincoln may be state-of-the-art, but I
doubt that there is an on-board Kinko’s. Today, the Prez’s spokesmodel was forced to walk back some of what the Prez said just yesterday. Scott McClellan
admitted that the White House had the banner made. So the Prez gets to score
some political points, and his aide corrects the record later.

Way to earn that trust. But what else can be said about a man who doesn’t
read newspapers or watch news on television? Leave it to a Republican
to not trust the free market in information, instead relying on a central source
(Condi Rice and Andy Card) for his news.
